REBECCA GELZER

Rebecca Gelzer is a Seattle-based actor, pianist, singer, stage manager, and teaching artist. She has received national and local awards for her work as a classical solo pianist, accompanist, and vocalist and is passionate about continuing to pour into the PNW through arts engagement.

My earliest memories are filled with story and song: from clowning around the living room (literally) to singing with my dad in the rocking chair while he held me (I still remember his steady voice blending with my child liltings).

I truly believe story is transformative. It is the heartbeat of humanity: and a fundamental component to the hope of furthering empathy in our community. I am most at home and alive in theatre when I get to collaborate to uplift the voices of women.
